There is no magic bullet for solving difficult problems and seizing big opportunities - if there was, they would already be dealt with… What we do is “carefully but effectively” bring thinking and information together and align them to maximise understanding of situations, and increase the likelihood of finding effective ways forward, and being able to make informed decisions about risks and priorities.
We build a picture of your people, processes and technologies - your “raw materials” with which to work to improve. We explore and collect raw information about what your people do, to whom they talk, what information passes back and forth, when, in what format, and so on.
We assemble information on the commercial imperatives for change - the “time and money” reasons for why you need to improve. We look at effectiveness and waste, the risks that people see to your operations at all levels, and the way that you stack up against your competitors.
We work with you to build plans for how to do the things that need to be done in the right order, and not to do the things that make no difference. We consider how best to communicate change, what priority to give actions, and help establish ownership at all levels to drive successful change.

The Principles
Our fundamental principle is one of using simple tools that promote widespread understanding. We believe that asking the right questions in a simple framework is more likely to clarify “confidence versus risk” than complex, multi-faceted, arcane methodologies and models that build assumption on assumption.
